These services are free/by donation.Through my long and winding path as a midwife I have been called to assist families grieving frequent miscarriage, stillbirth and even the death of children. Through my work in hospice, end of life education and the creation of rituals, I have cultivated a presence of support for families and communities grappling with death.
My primary focus is as an advocate, helping families have access to options at end of life that they may not even know are possible. This includes spending time with the body of the deceased in a way that is legal, safe and protects the stress response so the tragedy of the loss can be integrated.
I am available to meet with the friends and family of the bereaved to help find common language around the loss, encouraging the confidence in the support system that can be the only antidote to the loneliness of grief.
